The Australian pacer Mitchell Starc has come in the news recently by taking a wicket in an unconventional way in the Australian domestic league. All this took place in the 10th league match between New South Wales and Western Australia at Syndey Cricket Ground. Having won the toss, New South Wales opted to bat first. While batting first New South Wales declared the first inning at 444 for 8. Former captain of the Australian Cricket team Steve Smith (103 in 295 balls) scored a brilliant yet slow hundred.
As fer as the incident of the wicket which Mitchell Starc tool for New South Wales during the second inning, it was a mystery ball. Tha ball, however, dismissed the Western opener, Josh Philippe in a weird way. The delivery from Mitchell Starc first hit the bat of Philippe and then to his both the pads and after that, the ball went straight to hit the stumps.
Mitchell Starc amused everyone with that delivery. Like everyone, even the batsman couldn’t believe himself how he was dismissed with the mystery delivery from Mitchell Starc.

However, this is not the first time that Starc came in the news for his stunning bowling. In the ongoing T20I between Australia and Pakistan, Australia speedster Mitchell Starc left Pakistan reeling in the middle. Having won the toss and elected to field first, Australia had a dream start.
Pakistan were able to put up just 9 runs in the first two overs when Starc did the unthinkable by taking two wickets in two consecutive deliveries. Starc trapped Pakistan’s in-form opener Babar Azam in front of the wicket after missing the delivery which hit the pad. It was a full-length delivery and Babar Azam was beaten for pace and got out for mere 6.
However, Starc didn’t slow down as he dismissed Mohammad Rizwan on the very next delivery. A lethal first delivery of 140.2kph had uprooted the stump of Rizwan who was dismissed for a golden duck.
