WATCH: MS Dhoni Takes on Dwayne Bravo in Table Tennis Match

Former India captain MS Dhoni is considered as one of the best in business behind the stumps as well as captains of the world cricket. Under his captaincy, India had won three ICC trophies – World T20 in 2007, Cricket World Cup in 2011 and Champions Trophy in 2013. However, apart from his cricketing skills, the wicketkeeper-batsman is equally good in other sports as well like football.

However, recently in a throwback video released by Chennai Super Kings on their Instagram page, MS Dhoni was seen playing table tennis with Dwayne Bravo and there was no less a competition.

In the video, MS Dhoni, was seen playing against his fellow Chennai Super Kings teammate Dwayne Bravo in a table tennis match. The video, however, was shot in March, as per the caption in their official Instagram account and it shows Dhoni has made Bravo amazed with a ruthless smash.

As soon as Dhoni earned the point with a smash, Bravo was heard saying: “I’m going for rally, man.” Dhoni, in reply said: “I don’t do rally.” Bravo said: “You go for the kill, huh?”

Meanwhile,MS Dhoni has made himself unavailable for selection and it is not sure when he will be back in the circuit. But he was seen in the gym doing pullups for getting fit. However, sources said he wants to open cricket academy in Ranchi to help young cricketers.

“Aarka Sports, a company of Dhoni’s childhood friend and manager Mihir Diwakar, has been looking for a piece of land to open an academy and if all goes as per plan, we shall see an academy in the city in the next couple of years,” the source added.

As per the reports of the New Indian Express reports on October 24, MS Dhoni will be training with the Jharkhand U-23 teams in Ranchi to get back to full fitness.The training camp will start from October 31 for the upcoming national One Day League. He was last seen in India colour during the ICC World Cup where despite his fifty, India lost to New Zealand in the semi-final. Since then, he made himself unavailable for selection.

“He spoke to a support staff of the senior Jharkhand team, but as they would be leaving for Surat to participate in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20s starting on November 8, he is likely to practice with under-23 boys at the stadium,” a source close to the developments informed.

The Jharkhand U-23 team, is all set to begin their training in Jaipur before a week when they will take on Kerala in the upcoming tournament.
