Fans brought the legendary Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War map to life

The actual life experience will not stack up to the one provided by the video games. However, it still holds some special importance to see something of this scale being built in actual life so that fans can experience the legendary map ‘Nuketown’ again.

Professional Airsoft players gathered from all over the world to breathe life into this amazing map. Rules of engagement on this map were pretty straightforward. Each shot by the paintball gun was to be considered as a kill shot that would send them back to the spawn site. The elected game mode for this round of play was a normal ‘Team Deathmatch’.

Youtuber Dutch The Hooligan was among the players that took part in this event and he also recorded his experience fighting in the legendary map with his Airsoft gun.

The studio should always focus on giving the community legendary maps like these that can survive the test of time. The romanticism of fans with such maps not only serves the game and keeps it under the spotlight, but also grants it a status that is undeterred by the growing competition.
