On the other hand, West Indies are all set to bounce back in the second one. Let’s have a look at the West Indies vs India 2019 Dream 11 Prediction of the second Test.

Team News:

West Indies

Batting is the main concern for the West Indies. All-rounder Roston Chase was the highest scorer for their side in the first innings, scoring 48 whereas Kemar Roach scored a quickfire 38 off 31 in the second innings. Eight of their eleven players failed to reach the double-digit in the second innings. However, bowlers did pretty well where Kemar Roach picked up 4 wickets and Shannon Gabriel 3 in the first innings and Roston Chase took a 4-wicket-haul in the second innings. It is expected that they will do well in the next match too.

Predicted Playing XI

Jason Holder (C), Kraigg Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Shai Hope (WK), John Campbell, Shimron Hetmyer, Shamarh Brooks/ Jahmar Hamilton, Roston Chase, Rahkeem Cornwall, Shannon Gabriel, Kemar Roach.

India

India have shown a much better approach in the first Test. Although a couple of batsmen failed to do well, other batsmen and mainly the bowlers did extremely well. Ajinkya Rahane did a commendable job to notch up his 10th century in the longer format of the game. Along with him, Hanuma Vihari also impressed with a composed 93 and Ravindra Jadeja, whose patient 58 in the first innings took India to a decent total.

While pace-spearhead Ishant Sharma dismantled Windies in the first innings by taking a fifer, Jasprit Bumrah ripped apart the Windies batting line-up by taking a five-wicket haul in the second. Both of their made the winning foundation for India. However, they are looking forward to keeping their winning momentum on.

Predicted Playing XI:

Mayank Agrawal, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane, Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami.

Weather and pitch report

The weather might play a spoilsport in the second Test between West Indies and India as rain and overcast conditions have been forecast. Although the temperature is expected to be around 32°c in the day, that could drop to 27°c at night. The humidity is expected to be around 76%.

Sabina Park used to be one of the fastest pitches in the Caribbean soil which could pose a hurdle for the visitors against the pace attack of West Indies. Although the pitch has slowed down now and help the spinners more. Due to the lack of speed and bounce, batsmen may find it difficult to score.

H2H record

Both the teams have played 97 Tests so far where India won 21 times and Windies 30 times. 46 Tests ended in a draw. If India manage to register another win, this will be Virat Kohli‘s 28th Test win as captain and he will become India’s most successful Test captain ever, surpassing former India captain MS Dhoni (27 wins).
