“Great win against very tough opponent today! Very happy to be back in the 2-nd week of @rolandgarros”
With Djokovic already having entered the 4th round, the Serbian cheekily commented and asked Khachanov who he is playing next.
“Who are you playing next?” Djokovic asked.
To this, Khachanov had an even better reply. “I guess Djokovic. Heard of him?” Khachanov replied.
It was certainly an entertaining banter between the two players. From time to time, Djokovic has these small banters with various players on the tour. However, the Serbian won’t be this kind on the court and will fight for his points.

Djokovic has been in great form since the tennis restart. The Serbian has added two Masters 1000 titles to his trophy cabinet, and he boasts an impressive 34-1 record in 2020.
For Khachanov, this is a great chance to etch his name in history by snapping Djokovic’s unreal winning streak. Khachanov possesses a great topspin forehand and with the heavier conditions at play in Paris, he might be able to challenge the World No.1.

Their head-to-head record is 3-1 in Djokovic’s favor. Coincidently, Khachanov’s only victory against Djokovic came in Paris, though it was not at the French Open but the Paris Masters. The Russian had stunned Djokovic in the finals of the ATP 1000 Masters event to win his first Masters title back in 2018.
