Who is Matteo Berrettini’s Girlfriend Alja Tomljanovic?

The semifinalist at US Open 2019, Matteo Berrettini is in a relationship with the Australian WTA player, Alja Tomljanovic. During the US Open 2019, Tomljanovic was witnessed in his box and now Matteo Berrettini’s Girlfriend continues to take her seat in his box during the ATP events. Recently, she was seen at the Vienna Open 2019. 

The 26-year-old Australian, Tomljanovic was earlier in relationship with her compatriot, Nick Kyrgios. The Australian couple dated each other for about two years and they split in July 2017.

She was also in tandem with Kyrgios for several mixed doubles tournaments. This year, Tomljanovic reached the career high-career ranking of World Number 39 on the singles circuit of WTA Tour.

Tomljanovic was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia and began training tennis at the age of six. She earned her Australian citizen in January 2018. In 2014, she reached the fourth round of French Open and she has made it to four WTA finals so far. 

Before this month, they publicly did not confess their relationship status, but they are spotted together at shopping avenues and on the practice courts. In the month of October, the couple officially announced their relationship status.

“It is very special as we do not have the chance to spend too much time together,” the 23-year-old Italian, Berrettini told Ubitennis about his relationship with Tomljanovic. “We also hit together on the practice courts.

At present, Matteo Berrettini has been enjoying a career-best season. He pulled off his second ATP title at Hungarian Open 2019 and also withered away the young Canadian, Felix Auger-Aliassime’s title reverie in Stuttgart.

The Rome native, Berrettini entered the Wimbledon Championships 2019 with an eight-match winning streak on the grass and later was crushed by Roger Federer in the fourth round of the SW19 major.

Besides his thriving run on the ATP courts, Matteo Berrettini will be entering the top ten ATP Rankings on Monday. He lost Dominic Thiem in the semifinals of Vienna Open 2019 and the Italian stays on the eighth in the Race To London. From Vienna, Austria Berrettini will be flying to France of the Rolex Paris Masters 2019.
