Wimbledon Championships 2019 Draw:- Roger Federer And Rafael Nadal on Collision Course

The ‘Big Three’ of tennis have once again boarded to continue their action on the grass courts of SW19. As Wimbledon Championships 2019 draw is unveiled and their road to finals and their schedule for the next two weeks are determined.

The Wimbledon titlists over the past two years, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are in the quest to add another title two their names and Rafael Nadal is looking forward to pulling off his third crown at Wimbledon.

Roger Federer’s Wimbledon Championships 2019 Draw:

The eight-time champion, Roger Federer had a dreadful time at Wimbledon last year. After facing a match point he dealt with a quarterfinal loss to Kevin Anderson. The second seed, Federer will be meeting the Japanese, Kei Nishikori in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon. He is once again projected to meet Rafa in the semifinals. Then it might be the top seed, Djokovic in the finals. 

Federer will open against Lloyd Harris of South Africa, then would meet Jay Clarke or Noah Rubin. In the pre-quarters, Federer might face Matteo Berrettini and before that, in the third round, his opponent might be Lukas Pouille from France.

Rafael Nadal’s Wimbledon Championships 2019 Draw:

The Spaniard, Rafael Nadal played a spectacular quarterfinal match against Juan Martin Del Potro in 2018 and later he played an impressive semifinal match against Novak Djokovic and sadly it was a defeat for Rafa. The third seed will be taking on Dominic Thiem in the quarterfinals and then his longtime foe Federer in the semifinals.

Nadal will open against Japan’s Yuichi Sugita and them possibly face Nick Krgrios in the second round. And then, face Shapovalov or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the third round. He is projected to face the former finalist, Marin Cilic in the pre-quarters of Wimbledon 2019.

Novak Djokovic’s Wimbledon Championships 2019 Draw:

The reigning champion, Novak Djokovic remarked his comeback to the ATP circuit last year at Wimbledon and his Grand Slam winning streak was unbroken until the semifinals of Roland-Garros 2019. He will face Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals and Anderson in the semifinals.

Before that, he will be opening against, Philipp Kohlschreiber at Wimbledon and might take on his countryman, Dusan Lajovic in the third round. The Serb might face, the Frenchman Gael Monfils in the pre-quarterfinals. 

Dominic Thiem’s Wimbledon Championships 2019 Draw:

The French Open finalist, Thiem will be opening against, Sam Querrey. And in the third round, he is prophesied to meet Denis Shapovalov. In the pre-quarters, he is projected to face Fabio Fognini. In the quarters he will take on his Rafael Nadal and then might meet Federer in the semis.

The other set of quarterfinals is projected between the reigning finalist, Anderson, and Alexander Zverev. Zverev will face Jiri Vesely in the opening round.

The other interesting matches are John Isner and Casper Ruud in the opening round and the clash of the former finalist, Anderson and Milos Raonic in the pre-quarterfinals. Also the matches between, Isner and Nishikori, Daniil Medvedev and Tsitsipas and Karen Khachnov and Zverev in the round of 16.
