We are now less than 24 hours away from one of the most hyped sporting events of the year 2017. The Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor clash may not be for a world title, but a belt is at stake. But this is not just any ordinary belt, the World Boxing Council has created the ‘Money Belt’ to present to the winner of the bout.

WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman unveiled this belt at the final press conference before the match. The belt features 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 300 emeralds and 1.5 kilograms of solid, 24-karat gold and is made of alligator skin.

However, not many boxers endorsed this matchup, many called it a disgrace and ‘disrespectful to boxing’. However, on the other end of the spectrum, if the pay per view targets are matched, the retired American cols possibly earn $200 million. McGregor, a fighter without any prior boxing experience, could be well on his way to earn $100 million.

This match can truly be called a ‘Billion Dollar fight’.
