Naomi Osaka, the Japanese tennis professional, is one of the best in tennis. The former world, no.1, is just 24 years old and has witnessed everything a player has to in order to become a refined player. She has won four Grand Slams by far and her current form portrays that there will be more in the future.

In contrast to her shy nature, Osaka has often been vocal about the type of music and the singers she loves. Adding to that she recently shared a song she cherishes.

Naomi Osaka Is a Moonwalker

Naomi Osaka has always been a fan of the legendary musician Michael Jackson and she often uses his music to convey her thoughts. Recently she shared an Instagram story of her listening to his song’ you rock my world’ while spending some fun time with her favorites. She captioned the story, “favorite song of all time.”

However, Michael Jackson’s songs are not just for her merry moods. The former world no.1 has used his songs to pass tough times as well. Earlier, when she was going through some rough patches, she shared a clip of herself singing to the lyrics, “Just believe there is nowhere we can fall.” And wrote, “Even though there will be hard times, everything will turn out alright.” Therefore, it won’t be wrong to say that she draws motivation from his songs.

With the upcoming clay-court season, Naomi needs to master her nerves. Naomi has conquered hard courts this year and entered the top-50 again. Though what will pose a major threat to her scaling up the ranking table are matches on clay courts.

Naomi’s records reflect that she struggles with the red dirt. She has only reached as high as the third round in Roland Garros. Further, she has only touched the quarterfinals of any clay-based WTA 1000 event. Her best record in clay is at the 2019 Stuttgart Open, which is at WTA 500 level. There she clawed up to the semifinals.
