Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka played a final after a long time at the Miami Open on Saturday. This came after a few tough-to-accept results at various tournaments for the former World No. 1. As a result, this event has become extremely special for Osaka.

Even though she lost to World No. 1 Iga Swiatek in straight sets in the final, Osaka admitted that she was thankful for the experience and how things had turned out.

Naomi Osaka posts about her Miami experience

The four-time Grand Slam champion is quite active on social media and she recently posted about her time in Miami.

“Thank you Miami for everything, and to @airbnb for a place to call home for the past few weeks. Had a blast with my friends and Butta definitely loved the 305,” she said in the post. In the carousel that she posted, the first picture shows Naomi Osaka upping the glam quotient  for what could be Kim Kardashian’s party for the launch of her SKIMS Swim collection ahead of the Miami Open 2022.

In the next few posts and videos, she is seen having fun with her friends and her adorable furry friend Butta. In one of the pictures, she is seen cuddling with Butta. She posted another short snippet of a video, where we see one of her friends chase Butta as they seem to be having a great time around the table in a seating area.

Naomi Osaka said that it was an incredible experience staying at an Airbnb, which is also one of her many sponsors. It made her feel at home and was thus more comfortable to stay in.

We hope Osaka can maintain this positive mindset and continue to play the incredible tennis we are used to seeing from her. While she had dropped to No. 77 on the WTA rankings list, she has now moved up several spots and settled at 35th, thanks to her efforts in Miami. If Osaka can maintain the same form at the clay season, she will be back to the top level in no time.
