Williams and Brady have made their country proud by making it to the semi-finals at Melbourne. This will be Brady’s second-ever semi-final appearance at a Grand Slam while Serena will play in her 40th! Such is the greatness of the 39-year-old and everybody on the tennis circuit respects her achievements. Jennifer Brady is no different, and she just has one major desire when it comes to tennis.

“Being in the same draw as Serena is obviously, you know when she retires, if she retires, it will be something I’ll be extremely grateful for. I hope I get to play her before she retires,” Brady told reporters.

Serena Williams lauds Naomi Osaka ahead of blockbuster semi-final clash

Grab your popcorn because Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka face each other on February 18 at the Rod Laver Arena for a spot in the Australian Open 2021 finals; it simply doesn’t get any bigger than this.

Serena has been utterly dominant throughout the tournament, while Osaka had to get past a few hurdles here and there. As they get ready to meet on Thursday, 39-year-old Williams had massive words of praise for her Japanese opponent.

“She’s such a strong player on the court, and she’s such an inspirational person I think off the court, which I think is really cool,” Serena said of Osaka.
