‘Hope I Get To Play Her’: Jennifer Brady Asserts Serena Williams as the Tennis GOAT

There are two Americans who are placed in the semi-finals of the women’s singles division at the Australian Open 2021. One is Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, while the other is Jennifer Brady, an ardent admirer of Serena.
Williams and Brady have made their country proud by making it to the semi-finals at Melbourne. This will be Brady’s second-ever semi-final appearance at a Grand Slam while Serena will play in her 40th! Such is the greatness of the 39-year-old and everybody on the tennis circuit respects her achievements. Jennifer Brady is no different, and she just has one major desire when it comes to tennis.
“Being in the same draw as Serena is obviously, you know when she retires, if she retires, it will be something I’ll be extremely grateful for. I hope I get to play her before she retires,” Brady told reporters.

Furthermore, Brady also asserted that Serena Williams was the undisputed GOAT in tennis.
Brady and Williams have never met each other on the court, and the former just wants this wish of hers to be fulfilled before the latter calls the curtain on her glorious career.

“She’s such a strong player on the court, and she’s such an inspirational person I think off the court, which I think is really cool,” Serena said of Osaka.

“And it’s so good to see just someone that is so inspiring on both things, whether when they’re doing their job or they’re not doing the job, and so that’s really, really cool for me,” Williams further added.
Serena also mentioned that she’s been watching Osaka’s progression at the Australian Open 2021. What’s amazing is that Osaka even revealed that she always watches Serena’s matches.
