The film portrays the life of Richard Williams, who started training his daughters when they were just four and a half years. He was a tennis instructor and coach and took the responsibility of coaching both his daughters personally.

Richard took tennis lessons from a man named ‘Old Whiskey’. He dreamt that his daughters will become professional tennis players after watching Virginia Ruzici playing the sport on his television screen. From that day, he laid a plan for both Venus and Serena and never looked back.

Richard Williams has enjoyed incredible success as a coach. He accomplished every possible thing in tennis with both his daughters and even achieved the Golden Slam with 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena.
