The former World No. 1 recently announced her retirement from tennis through an essay in VOGUE. Adding to it, she further took part in VOGUE’s video titled ‘Life in Looks’. The video featured Serena recalling some of her iconic photos over the years. One of them was her pictured in a green gown at the 2017 Met Gala.

Recalling the moment, she started by saying, “I was in line in the Met, and they were just like, go, go in front of us because you always let the pregnant lady first, right?

In 2017, Serena announced her pregnancy with her then boyfriend, Alexis Ohanian. With the Met Gala taking place in May 2017, the legendary player was in her second trimester of pregnancy. Going ahead, she admitted, “I have a pregnancy glow there. I was definitely really happy.”
