‘Lords and Ladies Tend to Take Up Arms’ – Serena Williams and Husband Alexis Ohanian Gives a Glimpse of ‘Medieval Times’ to Daughter Olympia

Serena Williams, one of the legendary tennis players, tied the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian after welcoming their daughter, Olympia, in 2017. The power couple has been very consistent in sharing their joyful moments with their fans.

Further, their time together acts as a refreshment for Williams, who is mostly caught in the hectic schedule of the sport. Speaking of which, the 23 times Grand Slam champion washed off some stress before jumping into the American swing by taking a trip to a dinner theater with her family.

Serena Williams’ family’s fun outing

Williams and Ohanian both love a little touch of themes in their outings. Therefore, to give a taste and infuse a liking for the same in the four-year-old, they visited the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. And couple being super active on social media gave an insight to their fans as well.

Ohanian first took on Instagram and shared a clip of himself with a flag and crown, asking, “My lady, are you excited?” with Olympia chirping in the background. Thereafter, he tweeted, “This is not even close to my first time here. But it’s my first time bringing a child.”

While Williams mimicked a British accent and acted as a guide. “Well, this is a hall of arms where my lords and ladies tend to take up arms.” She said with Olympia growling with excitement in the background.

Further, Ohanian’s tweet garnered a bunch of emotions. It took some parents on a nostalgic trip to their first visit alongside their children. As one wrote, “I remember my daughter’s first time like it was yesterday. I drop her off at college in two weeks.” While others were just happy for Olympia to have such great childhood moments. “That’s gotta be super fun as a kid.”

Williams, after giving a subpar performance in the Wimbledon championships, will look forward to the last Grand Slam of the year. The former world no.1 is gearing up to give a decent end to the season and shushing the retirement rumors, for once and all.

Williams, after losing her protected ranking in London, will start fresh from the Toronto-based WTA 1000 event. She will oil her hard court skills and fight for her fourth title in the 2022 Canadian open.
