Iga Swiatek wasn’t at her best in this year’s Cincinnati Open. The Polish star lost in the opening round of the women’s singles and crashed out in the quarterfinals in doubles. However, the young player is learning and improving in all aspects of life, including her guitar playing skills.
In a recent video, Iga Swiatek was playing an electric guitar and learning the intricate details of it. Iga is a hardworking perfectionist on the court, as well as off it. The Polish star will be looking forward to the next event, the US Open.
As every perfectionist. First the enthusiasm, then immediatly the first corrections.

Iga Swiatek’s off court guitar skills
The hobbies and interests of athletes beyond their sport are always interesting to find out about. Besides Tennis, many players follow other sports and sometimes try their hand at it. Roger Federer was playing table tennis with himself a couple of days ago and he posted a reel about it. Rafael Nadal is extremely passionate about soccer and is a hardcore Real Madrid fan, a Spanish soccer team. Ashleigh Barty was a professional cricket player and played in the Women’s Big Bash League as well.
Iga Swiatek acted like a top professional while playing her electric guitar. She was going off beat at a point, however she quickly corrected herself. After playing, she also seemed to talk about the mistakes she was making. Clearly, Iga does not take her hobby lightly.

Iga Swiatek has had a decent run so far in 2021. She won two titles this year, adding to her 2020 French Open triumph. She clinched the Italian Open in Rome and the Adelaide International Open. In her short career so far, the Polish star has a career-highest ranking of number 7 in the WTA rankings.
However, the young star’s Grand Slam record this year has not been overly impressive. Her best finish was at the Roland Garros when she reached the quarterfinal. She will feel that she can do better than her round of 16 finish at the Wimbledon Championships and the Australian Open.
