Ashleigh Barty is currently on a 13-match winning streak on red clay. She recently survived a tough battle against Tamara Zidansek in the second round of the Mutua Madrid Open 2021. On the other hand, Iga Swiatek enjoyed an easy win over Laura Siegemund in the second round of the tournament. She thrashed her in straight sets. However, she had to wait a little longer for her win as it came after the Polish player earned her 11th match-point.

Barty has a lethal forehand, which definitely will be a big obstacle for Swiatek to overcome. However, the Polish too has a good and high serve which can cause a lot of trouble to the World No.1 player. Besides this, Swiatek has the ability to cover the court quickly, which can further create problems for Barty.
