Serena Williams, the 23 times Grand Slam champion, is currently recovering from an injury from last year’s Wimbledon Championship. She has been on the sidelines for almost a year now. However, on the bright side, her break from tennis has provided her with a chance to spend time with her daughter.

Serena and her husband Alexis Ohanian welcomed Olympia in 2017. Since then, the four-year-old has been the most important person in both her parents’ life. Recently Serena made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen Show’ and spoke about her little one’s tennis skills.

Serena Williams Speaks About Olympia’s Tennis

The tennis legend, while speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, the host of the show, stumbled upon the question about how Olympia is as a tennis player. To which Serena jokingly enquired about whose opinion Ellen wanted. A player’s or a mom’s.

However, after Ellen asked her to give base her opinion as an objective person, she gasped. And said, “I don’t know if I can be objective. Because I look at her and I am like wow. So my husband post a video of her hitting a backhand. That was a good shot, but that was not her consistent backhand. And I am like well. You know, if wants to play tennis she gotta….. But I don’t push her.”

“Yeah, she is alright. I have seen four-year-olds that might take her out.” She added.
