WWE fans are sometimes over-concerned regarding any slightest update on their favorite stars. It once again proved true after Adam Cole sent out a heartfelt message for his good friend Kyle O’Reilly which worried the fans.

The AEW star made his debut in Tony Khan’s promotion back in 2021 during the Holiday Bash episode of Dynamite. Following a WWE contract expiration, KOR joined forces with his former Undisputed Era buddies Adam Cole and Bobby Fish, penning a 5-year deal with AEW.

However, the 35-year-old didn’t get ample opportunity to demonstrate himself in the AEW ring as he fell victim to injuries shortly after his run started. Currently, he has been fighting hard to heal his wounds to get back in the squared circle and cement his place in the promotion.

Adam Cole had to reassure fans of O’Reilly’s health condition after a confusing update

While a person can’t take away one’s pain, a friend always tries to be there in whatever way possible to make someone feel less alone on the tough journey, just like Cole did to his friend,O’Reilly. Cole came up with several updates on O’Reilly’s health complications earlier. When the message seems sweet and wholesome, deep down it possessed a negative tone that didn’t go unnoticed by O’Reilly’s fans. They wondered if KOR was safe and healthy or not. Their concern and confusion turned out so severe that Cole himself had to comment on his own post to clear out the miss communication. To pacify the panic-stricken fans, he wrote, ‘Kyle is ok. Just showing my boy some love 🙏’

Fans felt relieved to know that Kyle O’Reilly is doing good and could be back soon. But it would not be easy for him, as he has been going through a lot in the meantime.

O’Reilly has gone through several complications after his neck surgery

O’Reilly last wrestled back in the summer of 2022 before a neck injury drove him away from the ring. The star had to undergo neck fusion surgery afterward. But that too wasn’t the end. The post-surgery complications started to set in on the path of his recovery. Another resistance to his healing was his chronic Type 1 diabetes. Along with a bunch of physical issues, the Canadian-born wrestler fought with some underlying mental health issues as well.

He has been silent about all his struggles until he chose to open up in his latest Instagram post. He expressed how desperate he was to come back to the ring with a whole new version of himself.
