AEW Superstar Reveals John Cena as the Biggest Influence in His Career

John Cena is one of the most admirable men in the wrestling industry. Fans love the 16-time champion for his in ring ability and also for his movies, and his charity works.

Recently, AEW star Preston Vance talked about the things that had the greatest impact on his wrestling career. The member of the Dark Order sees John Cena as the biggest influence on his career due to the open-mindedness and love from the fans towards Cena. Preston Vance also admires what Cena does outside the ring.

AEW Star Preston Vance reveals John Cena has the biggest influence in his career

The latest episode of the podcast, My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, had Preston Vance as a guest. In the podcast, he was asked who had the greatest impact on his wrestling career. Vance quickly answered with John Cena.

Vance said the work John Cena had done impressed him. Cena has made many contributions and social work through his Make A Wish Foundation. Cena is also appreciated by the fans for his mic skills, his wrestling style, and his contributions outside the ring. The former WWE champion has a great reputation due to his good nature. 

In the podcast, Vance said, I’m a huge fan and I always have been and it’s not even so much about like what he does in the ring. It’s all the cool stuff he does outside of the ring. I think he has like the most Make-A-Wishes. He just passed Mickey Mouse or something, which is insane.”

“People can bash him, but he got where he got because he worked super hard. Do you know what I mean? It’s not even from wrestling. When I started training, I remember one of my trainers told me, he’s like, ‘The stuff you do inside the ring is about 5% of the business. Now I understand that.” (H/T – Fightful)

Later, he mentioned his past wrestling career. He said when he started his career, his coach gave him a piece of advice that he understands now clearly. His coach had told him about how the wrestling industry works and how a wrestler gets to the top other than his in-ring efforts.

John Cena’s contribution through Make-A-Wish Foundation

John Cena fulfilled many wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Cena is involved in many Hollywood projects, but he always makes time to accompany his little fans. So far, he has fulfilled a total of 650 wishes for his fans.

We all appreciate the fact that Cena has always been one of the best WWE wrestlers of all time, and he has also exerted his influence outside the ring. He is an inspiration for many other wrestlers in the industry.
