In a recent tweet, AJ took to Twitter and thanked multiple female WWE Legends, saying that she would have not become the star she is today if those legends had never supported her in WWE.
Mendez extended her gratitude towards Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Layla, Eve Torres, and Maria Bennett. However, this was not it.
She also added that she is looking forward to doing the same to the younger female wrestlers in the new WOW promotion.
“I hope to pay that forward for the next generation,” AJ wrote.
Thank you Mickie! Yourself, @TheBethPhoenix, @EveTorresGracie, @MariaLKanellis, & @mslayel were so kind and helpful to me when I started in WWE, I hope to pay that forward for the next generation.
