“Below Me”: Will Ospreay Continues Attack on Triple H After Beating Bryan Danielson at Dynasty

WWE and AEW have been on the lips of fans for the past week after workers from both companies threw hints at each other. One of them was Will Ospreay, who referred to Triple H in a derogatory way during a live promo. The British superstar wanted to respond to the statements of WWE’s Head of Content, who had pointed out that he did not need those talents who sought the comfort offered by other companies.
Ospreay’s promo was widely commented on and criticized in equal measure by a large section of the professional wrestling community. But now he seems to be over it. After he defeated Bryan Danielson, he revealed how HHH and the WWE are below him.

In the post-media scrum after AEW Dynasty, Will Ospreay was asked about the shots he exchanged with Triple H and the WWE. While answering the question, Ospreay revealed that he does not want to mention anyone anymore. And said, “I felt like I lowered myself to that standard. And I don’t need to do that anymore.” He further added, “With all due respect like, If you take everything into consideration, of course, I’m annoyed about the jab that I took. I threw one back. I don’t think it was anything bad. It was a f**king joke from like 20 years ago for f**ks sake.” But it wasn’t enough for the new best wrestler in the world, as he took a subtle jab at the WWE again.

However, a botched ‘Storm Driver 91’ might’ve put Danielson’s career in jeopardy again. In fact, this led Ospreay to make a tough call. As he revealed his decision to retire the move.

The legacy that Bryan Danielson is leaving in wrestling is to be highlighted. His legacy and contributions to pro wrestling can be exemplified by his excellent display and the respect he has garnered from his peers. The AEW star now only has a direct impact on the creatives which has increased the respect he has with his colleagues due to his willingness to put over younger stars and being a dependable locker room figure. And one of them is Will Ospreay.

. As soon as Ospreay reviewed the footage of the match, he realized that his Storm Driver 91 might’ve caused serious injury to a wrestler he idolizes. So out of respect for Danielson and concern for future opponents, Ospreay has decided to retire the move. Nevertheless, he has also put an end to another point of contention with his recent comments on WWE.
