Bray Wyatt Shares a Heartfelt Tribute to Brodie Lee

Brodie Lee or Luke Harper, no matter what you call Jon Huber, the man was a great professional wrestler that loved his work and family more than anyone else. He knew his mettle and proved it by jumping ship to AEW earlier this year in March. The COVID-19 pandemic didn’t have fans in attendance, but one can only guess the pop he would’ve got.

Bray Wyatt sends emotional message to Brodie Lee

The wrestling world exploded with the news of Brodie’s loss. No one saw it coming, literally no one. Fans, friends, and fellow wrestlers poured in with their wishes, remembering the legacy of Brodie Lee, including WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message to Brodie Lee. In the post, Bray wrote how they both were at their best when they were a team. He also wrote about them fighting like brothers and what he meant to him. Bray even mentioned that he’ll put over Brodie Lee’s son over clean in a dark match when he gets old enough.

Brodie Lee’s loss is too hard to digest for the entire professional wrestling world. There are no words to describe this sudden loss of such a gifted athlete. For those don’t know the cause, Brodie Lee passed away due to an underlying non-COVID related lung disease.

Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee were together from their days in NXT when they debuted as The Wyatt Family. Their run continued on the main roster before WWE disbanded the group. Lee then went on a singles run and even captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

He had a memorable program with Randy Orton, and if only we could turn back time, we’d definitely push for a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 33 for the WWE Championship instead of the House of Horrors Match.

He made headlines when he made his AEW debut, revealing himself to be ‘The Exalted One’ of the Dark Order faction. Brodie Lee won the TNT Championship squashing Cody but lost it to him again two months later in a high octane Dog Collar Match. This match would be Brodie’s last match as a potential ankle injury sidelined him from action.
