Bryan Danielson Recreates Controversial WWE Moment After AEW Dynamite Goes Off Air

Bryan Danielson might have left WWE to join AEW. But the memories are still fresh in the mind of the former WWE superstar. Recently, Bryan Danielson surprised the fans by recreating a controversial WWE moment along with former WWE ring announcer, Justin Roberts.
Bryan and current AEW announcer, Justin Roberts, have a history back in their WWE days. They gave the fans a flashback of their infamous “tie choke” moment after this week’s AEW Dynamite went off the air.

During one episode of WWE Raw back in 2010, the NXT superstars, which included Bryan Danielson, attacked Roberts. It was also the first season of the developmental brand of WWE.

It was during that segment that their infamous “tie choke” moment took place. Roberts was strangled with his own tie by Bryan. However, Bryan had to pay a price for it as well. WWE released Bryan soon after this incident, as they felt it was too violent for their TV-PG programming. But WWE rehired him two months later.

Bryan Danielson to face former WWE superstar in the final of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament

Bryan Danielson advanced to the final of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament, following his win over Eddie Kingston. In the previous round, Bryan defeated Dustin Rhodes in a hard-fought match. Following this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan finally got to know whom he will face in the final.
His opponent in the final will be none other than the former WWE superstar, Miro (previously known as Rusev in WWE). The former WWE superstar replaced Jon Moxley to take on Orange Cassidy in the semifinals of the tournament.

After putting up an impressive fight, Miro defeated Cassidy to qualify for the final match against Bryan Danielson. However, this won’t be the first that the two will come face-to-face in the squared ring. The two superstars previously battled each other in WWE for a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Much to the surprise of the fans, it was Miro who got the better of Bryan in that match. Thus, Bryan will surely have revenge on his mind when they face each other at the AEW Full Gear PPV.
