CM Punk Reveals his Dream Matches in AEW

CM Punk is a pioneer in the wrestling business and has been a loved superstar for over a decade now. WWE and AEW fans have always made up and wanted their own fantasy matches for CM Punk.

However, this time, CM Punk himself spoke about the few AEW superstars he wants to wrestle with or wrestle against. Since the lockdown started, Punk has been very active on social media.

‘The Voice of the Voiceless’ has shared his views on WWE, AEW, and various other wrestling promotions regarding their matches, promos, events, etc. He also responds and interacts with many fans on social media.

One such fan asked CM Punk about any AEW superstars he liked and wanted to work with or feud with. The fan also suggested his personal choice to the straight edge Superstar.

‘The Best in the world’ replied to this fan, naming a few he would like to work with. The fan may have rejoiced reading Punk’s response and him having the same choice.

CM Punk had almost signed with AEW

It is no secret now that AEW tries to sign every WWE superstar from the past or present. It is very well known that CM Punk was in talks with AEW and it didn’t go through.

On the Keepin’ It 100 interview, Konnan revealed one of the main reasons for CM Punk not joining AEW.

“I do remember when I was negotiating with AEW and they were telling me about him,” reveals Konnan. “They were telling me that he was asking for an astronomical amount of money, that they really wanted to work with him but he was.”

“I mean if they want to do something with him and Jericho or him and Cody, I’m sure they could, you know what I’m saying,” explains Konnan. “But like I said from what they told me he was asking for way too much and that is a company that’s willing to spend so who knows what he was asking for.”
