The 2023 WWE Survivor Series is on the horizon. While there is still a spot on Cody Rhodes’s team there are speculations on who the fifth member of the squad might be. The two top contenders on the list are Randy Orton and CM Punk. While there haven’t been many updates on The Viper’s side, The Second City Saint has been dropping some hints for the past few weeks. And his latest post on his social media has drawn some attention.

CM Punk’s latest post catches eyes

Taking to Instagram, the former AEW star posted a picture that said, “Keep every stone they throw at you, you’ve got castles to build.” Along with this, he added a few words stating, “More Castles.” This post came in days after the star had hinted at his next move to either WWE or TNA. This post has particularly re-ignited the debate once again as to where the star is headed.

The star has been teasing his next move for quite some time now. It all began a few weeks ago when he was present as a guest commentator at the CFFC 125. During the commentary, Punk accidentally said that he had almost two months of free time on his hands at that time. Fans quickly calculated that at the time the comment was made, WWE’s Survivor Series was two months away.

Following this, the Straight Edge Survivor gave out many more hints about his future in pro wrestling at CFFC 127. While many considered it to be hints, few also thought that he might be trolling his fans.

With the latest tease, fans quickly rushed to social media. Many had their theories on what might this cryptic post mean.

Fans reacting to CM Punk’s message

A couple of X (formerly Twitter) users believe that this might be a hint that he will be siding with Cody Rhodes at the upcoming Survivor Series.

One user believed that he might be set to appear at the WWE PLE, Clash at the Castle due to the use of the word “Castle”. While another believes that he has already built many castles and might head to TNA to start from scratch.

But what one fan believes is that by Castle, Punk might be hinting at his own kingdom. A fan believes that the 45-year-old star might be on his way to start his own wrestling promotion.
