After Cody Rhodes announced his retirement from AEW, many professional wrestlers from the company and even outsiders came to support him. A Scottish professional wrestler, Joe Hendry took to Twitter to share a heartwarming message and thanked Cody Rhodes.

Joe Hendry is currently signed with the Ring of Honor (ROH) wrestling company and has previously had appearances in Impact Wrestling and independent circuits.

The professional wrestler shared a personal story of him with Cody Rhodes. Hendry is not a big name in the wrestling industry; he mentioned in his post that in 2018/19; he was struggling to have his position in wrestling.

During that time, Rhodes took him under his wings and told him that ROH might be interested. Rhodes shared the necessary contacts that the 33-year-old needed.

The former AEW Star also gave good recommendations regarding Joe Hendry. The Scottish pro-wrestler has been grateful for such a gesture by the ‘Dashing’ Rhodes. After reasonable requests from Rhodes, Joe Hendry has a stable career in ROH wrestling.

Will Cody Rhodes join WWE again?

It is still rumored that Cody Rhodes will join WWE after his exit from the competitive company, AEW. The return of Cody Rhodes to WWE would surely pop back some memories and it would be very exciting for the WWE Universe.
