Rival wrestling promotions are constantly fighting to gain the best stars and in return their fans. As in the case of top AEW star Jade Cargill who is now signed with the WWE. Pro wrestling is filled with cutthroat competition and it’s almost like a war out there among the wrestlers. But a top AEW star begs to differ and also went out of his way to praise Cody Rhodes and LA Knight from the WWE.

He painted a totally different picture of how stars from rival promotions perceive each other.

In a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, MJF spoke about how fans of the WWE and AEW are at loggerheads with each other. The best example of that is when WWE used broken Barbie dolls in its Extreme Rules match at NXT No Mercy, fans quickly said that this same thing would be mocked if AEW did it. But he made it very clear that’s not the same case with the stars of rival promotions.

According to MJF, the wrestlers from both AEW and WWE have been rooting for each other. He even praised LA Knight and Cody Rhodes in the process. He said, “I’m watching LA Knight and Cody Rhodes every week and I’m having a blast like I know everybody else is having a blast. Just like I know that there are fans out there watching Better Than You Bay-Bay having a blast every single week. There is so much great professional wrestling going on, and there’s more than enough room for it clearly”.

But as MJF talks about wrestlers rooting for each other, there is one superstar who is at the top of his list.

MJF is a really big fan of Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has fans all around the world, but to think that the top star of AEW is also a huge fan is really shocking. But that’s exactly how MJF feels about The Tribal Chief.
