

Trust plays a very big factor in any relationship. Once this trust is broken, the relationship doesn’t last long. And once these bridges are burnt, there is no turning back. Such is the situation of an ex-WWE Superstar who felt betrayed by the WWE and hence left the brand in 2016.
He has been mostly out of action since then but a wrestling legend believes AEW is the best place for him to have a fresh start.

Wrestling legend thinks Ryback should join AEW if he wants to return to wrestling
Ryback was with the WWE from 2010 to 2016 and during his stint, he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship once. His last match was at Payback in 2016 where he lost to Kalisto in an unsuccessful attempt to win the United States Championship.

Post that he left the WWE due to inequality in pay and also frustration with the creative decisions concerning him. After that, he wrestled on the independent circuit for some time and then retired in 2018. Post his retirement, Ryback has become infamous for talking smack about WWE and Vince McMahon. Due to this on one occasion, he even got into a Twitter battle with Booker T who told him to “Just go home”.
And recently, former WCW head booker Kevin Sullivan thinks Ryback has a better chance at AEW. On the last episode of ‘Tuesday with The Taskmaster’, he said, “I think that if he came back, he’d have a better chance coming back to AEW — fresh start, fresh thought, no sins. If he really apologized, from the heart, everybody deserves a second chance.”
We will only have to wait and watch to see what Ryback’s next move will be. But recently, Ryback revealed that creative differences were not the only reason he left the WWE in 2016.

As mentioned above, Ryback has been badmouthing WWE for quite some time now. And fans often felt that he left the WWE because of bad relations with Vince McMahon.

But recently he took to Twitter to clear the air that he actually left the WWE because of a back and shoulder injury that he needed time off for. At the same time, he was offered a multimillion-dollar contract, but he chose his health over the money and didn’t re-sign with the company.
