Wrestling veteran, Sting, just pulled out a page from ECW tonight! The 62-year-old legend has been an integral part of Tony Khan’s AEW and occasionally puts out matches. However, the Stinger caught fans off-guard tonight, displaying some breathtaking heroics at the AEW Revolution PPV.

The former WCW World Champion took an insane dive off of from a balcony at a great height, through the tables. Sting, Sammy Guevara, and Darby Allin went toe to toe with the team of Matt Hardy, Andrade El Idolo, & Isiah Kassidy.

However, it was the Stinger who stole the show tonight at the Addition Finance Arena, Orlando, Florida. Yes, you read it right! Not to mention, Sting will be 63-years-old in a couple of weeks. The bump was insanely perfect, given the age of the Stinger. As soon as he landed the jump, the entire arena burst into the chants of “you still got it!!”.

Eventually, Darby Allin capitalized and dragged Matt Hardy back to the ring. There, Hardy tried to deliver a ‘Twist of Fate’, but Allin countered it in ‘Scorpion Deathlock’, which is Sting’s finisher.

In the end, the team of Sting, Allin, and Guevara secured the victory when Allin pinned the former WWE superstar after a coffin drop.

The fans are in awe of Sting

Pulling off a stunt like that, let alone at 62, has left fans in disbelief. Hence, many took to their Twitter, talking about the moment they witnessed the WCW veteran take a leap of faith. Most certainly, his actions today only speak volumes about how much Stinger loves the business.

Notably, Ryan Sating drew similarities between the WWE Hall of Famer and ECW legend, New Jack. The late wrestler, New Jack, was famous for his over-the-top bumps and he used to jump through tables from balconies, just like Sting did.
