It looks like AEW may pull one more EX-WWE Superstar to their show. Mickie James, a former WWE Women’s Champion, teased a match in AEW via her Twitter handle. James, who later announced that she would be wrestling at NWA 73, may have just found an opponent if she indeed appears in AEW. Current AEW Superstar Big Swole has expressed her desire to face the former Divas Champion of WWE.

Big Swole Challenging Mickie James

Big Swole, who was also a former WWE Superstar, is now working with AEW. The former Pheonix of Rise Champion had an intriguing rivalry with Britt Baker in AEW. Both the Superstars locked horns in a Tooth and Nail match, which ended in favor of Swole as she defeated Baker. On the other hand, Mickie James is making her return to the wrestling ring this August as she is scheduled to be part of the NWA 73.

In a recent Twitter post, Big Swole revealed her desire to face Mickie James, even if it’s at a birthday party. It looks like fighting Mickie James seems to be a dream for the former WWE Superstar. Things got interesting when Mickie showed up and replied to the post of Big Swole. The former WWE Women’s Champion said- “That sounds like a regular Wednesday night!!! C’mon!!!”

A well-needed big break for Big Swole

If this match indeed takes place, it just can be the big break that Big Swole very much needs in her AEW career. So far, Big Swole hasn’t had the chance to prove her worth in the company. The match against Britt Baker seems to have been the only best thing that has happened to her in her dull AEW career. Wasting the talent of one of the most talented female wrestlers of the AEW Women’s division is not what the AEW fans want from the brand.

Mickie James, with all her wrestling experience, can provide a splendid match to give Swole’s career some momentum. The match can also be a perfect entry to AEW for James if they sign the former WWE Superstar. Signing a legend like Mickie to AEW can be helpful for the brand as she will bring vast experience to the roster.
