Jericho further talked about a tag team match where he and Eddie teamed up against Haku and Barbarian. “I watched the match that I had with Eddie and I versus Haku and Barbarian. Dude, it was amazing.” The match Jericho is talking about with Stone Cold is from the February 24th, 1997 edition of WCW Monday Nitro.

For those who don’t know, Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero were actually a tag team in WCW for a brief period. WCW put together the two rising stars in a tag team as they had no plans for them at the time. Surprisingly, the duo connected instantly and put on some terrific tag team matches.

If you get the chance, then do watch their series of tag team matches against Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko. Of course, also the Haku and Barbarian one Jericho talked about. Although their stint as a tag team didn’t last long, Jericho always hoped it did. Either way, it was only for the better.
