A few weeks ago, Edge participated in his last match for WWE. Following his departure from the Stamford-based promotion, fans were worried as to what was next for the 49-year-old superstar. But last night, fans were in for a treat as The R-rated superstar made his debut at AEW. 

Following his debut at AEW Wrestle Dream, there has been some uproar amongst the fans. Edge wrote down a message for his beloved fans, explaining how being in the ring means a lot to him.

Edge reiterates he is not done with his endeavors in the squared circle

Taking to X (former Twitter), Copeland wrote a series of tweets addressing the fans’ disapproval of him joining AEW. One of the tweets read as follows, “I guess what I’m trying to say is this, if you’ve appreciated my work, you still can, no matter what the initials are. Because I’ll still be bustin’ my a*s every time I’m out there.” implying that he will give his all just for the sake of his fans. He also added, “This ride isn’t over just yet. Just try to have fun, like it should be.” stating that there is more for the star out there.

He also stated that he will try his best to have fun in the AEW ring as well. Wrestling fans saw Copeland at the AEW Wrestle Dream when Darby Allin was attacked by Edge’s former friend Christian Cage. Allin was ambushed by Cage and Nick Wayne, who turned his back on Allin. Even though Sting came to help Allin it was of no use. But Edge made his roaring entry into AEW.
