‘The Best Bout Machine’ Kenny Omega is back. After a sleeper start to his All Elite Wrestling Career, Kenny got back to being ‘The Cleaner’ after finding winning ways in the AEW World Championship Tournament. On December 2nd, he faces Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship.

Kenny Omega talks AEW and WWE working together

Kenny Omega was a guest on The Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer where he opened up on a variety of topics, including the possibility of a ”talent tradeoff” between professional wrestling’s top two companies – WWE and AEW.

He said, “If, for some reason, WWE came knocking on our door and said, ‘hey, we would love to do a talent switch or tradeoff, or work together on something, I’d be all for it.‘”

The ‘Best Bout Machine’ wasn’t done there. He shared that he always thinks from a fan-first perspective before anything else. Despite being AEW EVP, he is open to work with WWE. Tony Khan? Not so much.

Omega said, “Whatever benefits the wrestling fan must always come first.”

“When you start thinking about fantasy scenarios, if wrestlers crossed over like that, it gets really exciting.”

The former IWGP Heavyweight and current AAA Mega Champion also believes that a talent tradeoff could inject a new life in the world of professional wrestling.

He said, “I think this is the kind of shot in the arm that wrestling needs.” He continued, “Will we succeed in attracting more viewers than we already have at the table? We would never know until we tried and even if we are unable to create new fans, it’s still a win-win because you’re only to going make the current fan happier.”

“I am always thinking about the fan first,” he said. “I don’t think you’re gonna drive any fans away by having a friendly atmosphere and working together.” H/t WrestlingInc.com

WWE and AEW – A Dream Crossover

Kenny Omega pointed legitimate facts. A tradeoff between the top two companies in the world would be a treat for fans all over the world. AEW’s popularity only continues to rise and WWE already sitting at the top of the mountain.

One can only imagine if these two forces ever work together. Thinking about the dream matches alone brings goosebumps!
