The name of CM Punk continues to be chanted throughout the years, even though he hasn’t stepped foot in one for the same time. Punk was the total package. His supreme promo ability and in-ring skills proved he was the ‘Best in the World’.
CM Punk even held the WWE Championship for a total of four hundred and thirty-four days before losing it to the Rock at the Royal Rumble. It seemed that Punk was going to be WWE’s biggest star, alongside John Cena, however things with management and CM Punk continued to get worse and worse.

Punk has been out of the squared circle for approximately 2762 days. CM Punk’s last match at WWE was back in Royal Rumble 2014, where he was eliminated by Kane. A very underwhelming goodbye to such a fan favorite wrestler.

Ever since he left the company, the fans haven’t stopped speculating his next step. Although he did pursue his lifelong dream of competing in MMA, that dream turned into a nightmare in his debut match.
His fans and wrestling fans, in general, are desperate to see him get back in the ring. ‘The Best in the World‘ has left such a mark on WWE, that fans, as well as WWE superstars, talk about him.

CM Punk is rumored to join AEW

The fans have always criticized WWE for its mismanagement with CM Punk and continue to do so. Now the only thing worse will be Punk joining WWE’s rival company All Elite Wrestling. Even WWE Hall of Famer, X-Pac, thinks it will be a game-changer.

“The difference is one is just a publicly-traded company that’s just f**king monstrous. It’s huge, and I don’t think it’s going anywhere. That’s why I don’t think this necessarily hurts them. It just helps AEW, and it f**king helps the industry.”
