After thanking and complimenting Khan in the ring, a returning Jack Perry raised the CEO’s hand to rousing applause. However, the celebration would not last long as Perry gut-punched Khan, laying him out. While Khan’s initial sell as a non-wrestler was good, there was a moment of stillness before he reacted to the punch after hitting the mat. This is when fans began questioning whether it was deliberate or a botch.

Following this, The Young Bucks with Kazuchika Okada seemingly calmed Perry down. However, they also showed their true colors as they hit Khan with a TK diver. While Khan lay still in the ring, the New Elite scurried away to make way for the medics and Shad Khan to check on the fallen CEO. On Instagram, fans commented on the segment video uploaded by the official AEW social media page.
