Shotzi Blackheart is one of the more promising wrestlers in WWE at the moment. However, her image was recently in jeopardy following a playful tweet directed towards WWE legend, Chris Jericho.
The tweet was regarding AEW’s Blood & Guts final spot where Jericho had to take a fall from the top of the cage. This happened back in May in a match between The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle. However, the ending was botched as everyone saw Jericho landed on a crash pad.

The internet did not let AEW and Jericho get away with it. WWE superstar Shotzi Blackheart also had something to say about it. She tweeted a GIF of a woman falling onto a bed, without a caption. She later clarified her tweet on “TalkSport” saying,

“I meant no offence to Chris Jericho. I thought, honestly, the match was great. But, you know what… like, take a joke. Take a joke, bud! [laughs]. It’s just a GIF. Laugh at it and move on. It’s live TV. Things happen, it’s pro wrestling. Don’t take life too seriously is all I have to say.”
The internet may be laughing, but Le Champion had nothing to laugh about. The fall was serious and could have led to real injuries if they weren’t careful. AEW just wanted to give their fans something spectacular and breathtaking, but they also had to ensure Jericho’s safety.

That fall might have been the last time we see Jericho do such a high-risk stunt. Let’s be honest, Jericho is getting on in years. Even though his ability on the mic is untouchable, his in-ring prowess has significantly declined. He can’t take the bumps like he used to. Thus, safety measures had to be taken in order to safeguard Jericho’s body.
