CM Punk returned to AEW Collision with a huge pop at the United Center in Chicago. The hometown star got a hero’s welcome when he entered the ring to open the show. Moreover, the ‘Best in the World’ was also in the Trios match main event teaming with FTR. They faced and won the match against Samoa Joe, Juice Robinson, and Jay White. After the match, Punk celebrated his victory by holding up a LGBTQ+ YOUTH poster after the show went off-air.
CM Punk promotes the LGBTQ+ YOUTH on AEW Collision
After nearly nine months, the ‘Voice of the Voiceless’ stepped into the squared circle at AEW Collision. After winning the match against his old rival Samoa Joe, Juice Robinson and Jay White, Punk and FTR celebrated while the ‘Cult of Personality’ played in the arena.

Being one of the top faces of the new show of AEW, Punk made a heartfelt gesture on the debuting AEW Collision. In his first-ever appearance at the United Center in Chicago, the former WWE Champion grabbed a SUPPORT LGBTQ+ YOUTH poster and held it high in the ring.
A fan tweeted Sean Ross Sapp’s tweet with the pictures. The tweet read, “CM Punk and FTR grabbed a SUPPORT LGBTQ+ YOUTH sign and the fan holding it and brought them in the ring and talked about how important it was.”
The 44-year-old also brought the fan in the ring whose poster he held in his hands. Through this gesture, Punk showed his support and created awareness for supporting the LGBTQ+ YOUTH in the country and around the world.

Clearly, Punk made his AEW return memorable for himself and for fans around the world. Moreover, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood also stood with him in the ring to show their support.

A 6000+ days old rivalry got re-ignited on AEW Collision
The in-ring rivalry between CM Punk and Samoa Joe goes way back. They wrestled several times against each other in Ring of Honor, before they got signed by top companies.

In the match, the ‘The Samoan Submission Machine’ tagged himself in while Robinson was about to lock hands with Punk. The entire arena started cheering at the top of their voice as they just witnessed Punk and Joe facing each other once again after they last did battle in 2004.
