Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa faced off tonight at AEW Dynasty for the AEW Women’s World Championship. It was a grand spectacle to watch, as the champion, Timeless Toni Storm, and the challenger, La Mera Mera, faced each other in a highly intense matchup.

The Mexican superstar never lost the belt but was instead forced to vacate it after a serious injury. And she wanted to get it back. However, she couldn’t fulfill her desire as Timeless secured the win in the match. Thanks to a combo of Low Blow and Storm Zero, Storm reconfirmed her status as the AEW Women’s Champion. And being the amazing heel that she is, she took the post-match interviews to make further headlines as she took a shot at Nicole Garcia FKA Nikki Bella.

After the PPV came to an end, Toni Storm still made news through the post-event media scrum. She took out a poetic letter she wrote to herself, mentioning her rivals and peers. And that is when she also took a shot at Nikki Bella, who is rumored to be AEW-bound or at least wants to be a part of it. Storm said, “Nicole Garcia (Nikki Bella) thought about joining AEW when she saw what Mercedes (Moné) did. You know why she didn’t? Because then she saw me and realized she can’t hold a p***y-scented candle to what I do.”

Since the end of her contract with WWE in March 2023, with her last one-on-one on WWE’s European tour in 2018, Nikki Bella (now known as Nikki Garcia) has embarked on multiple projects. The idea of Mercedes Mone’s debut in All Elite Wrestling was an incentive to consider the idea. However, Garcia did not go forward with the move as she thought of her son Matteo and that her child needed her right now. So she ended up dropping her plan to be All-Elite.
