Lana, on the other hand, was not released by WWE, and still continues to perform on the Raw brand. While Miro just started on a quest towards championship gold in AEW, Lana is in a tag team with Naomi and looks focused on winning the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Dr. Britt Baker (AEW) – Adam Cole (WWE)
Happy Birthday to my best friend ♥️. You are one of the best human beings on the planet and your constant positive outlook on life is contagious. You deserve all the success in the world. Life with you is wonderful and I love you more than Grey’s and Big Macs! @AdamColePro pic.twitter.com/EOWv9uU4cm
— Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (@RealBrittBaker) July 5, 2020
Dr. Britt Baker and Adam Cole is another couple who is on opposite ends of the WWE-AEW rivalry. Adam Cole is a mainstay on NXT, and has been the longest reigning NXT Champion in history. On the flipside, Britt Baker has grown into her own as a wrestler, and impressed the world with her recent performances inside and outside the ring.
Adam Cole is regularly in AEW parties alongside Britt. In fact, WWE even showed Britt Baker on screen after Tommaso Ciampa hit Adam Cole with a Air Raid Crash from the top of the War Games structure at NXT TakeOver: WarGames (2019). These two were literally at loggerheads with NXT vs Dynamite until recently.

The third and last couple torn apart between the WWE-AEW rivalry are Cedric Alexander and Big Swole. Alexander has been in WWE since 2016 and is a former Cruiserweight Champion as well as a Raw Tag Team Champion. His wife, Big Swole, is a part of AEW’s ever-growing women’s division.
Cedric Alexander and Big Swole married in 2018 and have a daughter named Adessah together. Alexander and Swole might be the most least known couple from these two companies, and rightly so. Unlike the other two couples in this article, Alexander and Swole live a low-key, low cha-cha life!

Before the recent string of releases, Peyton Royce and Shawn Spears were also another couple in between the WWE-AEW rivalry. However, now, we could very well see Royce in Tony Khan’s promotion after the no compete clause is up.
