On tonight’s episode of Dynamite, Jack Perry came to the ring, reminisced about some of the prestigious moments he had in AEW, and asked Tony Khan to join him in the ring. With the owner of AEW with him, the ‘Scapegoat’ stated that he only wants the best for the company, and although the two have had problems, he wants to be reinstated. Tony Khan greeted him and hugged him, confirming this reinstatement, and that’s when the unthinkable happened as Jack Perry punched his boss’s belly.

The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada came to the ring, and just when it looked like they were going to help the boss, the tag team champions too attacked Khan, and the episode ended with several referees ordering them out of the ring. After this brutal assault on Khan, fans will be wondering what his next move will be. And a legend of the sport has surely come up with an interesting idea.

As soon as the segment aired, the pro wrestling world was taken by storm. It also took no time for Bully Ray to share his thoughts through the Busted Open podcast. While discussing the final segment, Bully Ray believed that Tony Khan should aim for revenge now. And nothing is better than a punch to the face of Jack Perry. He said, “When it comes to Jack Perry, I want to see Tony Khan have his George McFly moment. I want to see Tony Khan have his ‘man-up’ moment. I want to see Tony Khan take his hand, ball it up into a fist, and punch Jack Perry right in his frickin’ mouth. That’s the receipt. It’s that simple.”

It is not new for the pro wrestling world to see wrestlers attacking their bosses. In fact, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon built a legendary rivalry over it, with Austin thrashing McMahon every chance he got while McMahon found his means of exacting revenge. But not all workers hate their bosses. As ‘the CEO’ Mercedes Mone shared her reaction to the assault.

The CEO reacts to the segment involving the assault on Khan

It wasn’t just the podcasting world that talked about the assault, as social media too buzzed about the segment talk of the wrestling town. One of the shocked fans was none other than the CEO Mercedes Mone. Through her social networks, Mercedes Mone reacted to this moment by taking advantage of the fact that she calls herself the CEO of AEW and that Tony Khan is, in an official capacity, the CEO of the company. So, retweeting the footage of Khan’s assault, she wrote, “Say hello to your new #CEO 😱”

Tony Khan was treated by AEW’s medical services instantly, and a good part of the roster showed up to check on him. In fact, the surprise was that his father, Shahid Khan, also came out to check on his son. So it would be interesting to see what new storyline AEW manages to cook out of this assault. What do you think? Will Tony Khan be able to take his revenge? Let us know in the comments.
