It is clear that seeing such results even after having their top talents like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar should ring some bells for the WWE creative team and the WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

AEW won the rating war against a top show like SmackDown

Friday’s WWE Supersized SmackDown on FS1 drew 866,000 viewers with a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demographic which is 53.84% from last week’s 0.52 rating on network TV. Meanwhile, Friday’s AEW Rampage on TNT drew 578,000 viewers with a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demo.

This is the first ratings loss for WWE SmackDown since 1998 and seeing it getting hammered this badly even though there are big names like Brock Lesnar and other superstars on the roster should be an alarm for WWE.

It looks like Vince McMahon should bring back his old genius and do something incredible, especially at WWE Crown Jewel PPV which will take place in Dubai later this month.

WWE has a grand chance of redeeming this loss since they have the star power in the name of Edge, Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, and many more.
