On tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE promoted their new episode of the show. However, the rivalry that was promoted caught fans’ attention as it was none other than the Hardy Boyz.

Since announcing their contracts with AEW were expiring this March, Matt and Jeff Hardy made headlines. WWE fans want the brothers to return to the WWE, while they claim they did not renew their AEW contracts. With Mania just a few weeks away, this WWE Rival episode seems to have come at the right time. Fueling nostalgic fondness for the WrestleMania 17 TLC match between the Hardy Boyz, the Dudley Boyz, and Edge and Christian, fans believe this is a subtle hint by the WWE.
