Mercedes Mone’s future remains unknown, but it seems increasingly clear that Mone will end up in All Elite Wrestling after several months of negotiations. Since her controversial departure from WWE, Mercedes Mone fka Sasha Banks has been the talk of the town. She has made her presence known with stellar matches in Japan and appearances on different stages. After an injury that kept her away from the ring, her path in Japan ended, and her whereabouts would remain the focus of discussion.

With the confirmation that WWE and Mercedes Mone could not come to fruition with the negotiations, AEW has snapped at the opportunity to recruit her to their roster. The company has flirted with the prospect for a while and has hinted at her debut at Big Busine$$. Now even she’s teasing a return with a recent video on X.

In a recent video Mone uploaded on X, we could see her back in training in the video. Finally, after the injury that kept her out for a long time, she stepped up to the ring again and was back in training just a few weeks before AEW’s Big Business PPV. Captioning the video with a moneybag and clock emoji, she might be hinting at her appearance at Big Business and the clock being a countdown.

The world of pro wrestling has been anticipating the return of one of the biggest female superstars. At the end of 2022, Mercedes Mone left WWE for good, citing creative differences. And with subtle hints on her social media popping up now and then, it seems likely that she is going to be announced as All Elite pretty soon. Even a veteran in the company is expecting her to arrive soon. One such veteran is Matt Hardy.

A few days back, Matt Hardy talked about Mercedes Mone on ‘The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy’ podcast. To begin with, he is confident that the Boss will finally join the company as he said, “I don’t know, but I would bank on it.” A wordplay on the last name of the gimmick ‘Sasha Banks’, also anyone would assume that the veteran surely has more information than he shares.

To continue, he gives a general preview of what such an addition to the women’s division will bring. According to the younger Hardy, the signing would boost the women’s division. Mone is one of the best women wrestlers in the world with many loyal and dedicated followers. So according to the high flyer, it would be a great deal and an enormous boost for the women’s division.

Without detracting from any of the wrestlers, the arrival of Mercedes Moné could be the best thing that has happened to the AEW women’s division.
