In 2022, Kiera Hogan and Red Velvet appeared on an Instagram live video. In the video, Hogan talked about mental health and depression. She said, ”Actually, I do go through depression and a lot of people f**king do, not just me. Because I am sure f**king Mercedes does too. But she doesn’t talk to you all about that s**t. I actually talk to my fans about that s**t.” Some fans then pointed out how they didn’t know Banks, which Red Velvet addressed.

“Ya I don’t know the girl. Y’all know how she is wrestling, we all know, meet and see each other all the time,” Velvet said. Hogan then added, “I met her on multiple occasions. She isn’t nice. She’s never been nice,” while Velvet agreed before adding, “Other female wrestlers can tell you the same.”

This wasn’t the only time when Kiera Hogan threw shade at Sasha Banks. The former TNA wrestler also took a subtle dig Banks for allegedly copying her.

In the February 5, 2021, episode of WWE SmackDown, Sasha Banks came out to interrupt the winner of that year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match Bianca Belair. But Kiera Hogan’s tweet after the segment caught the attention of fans. She tweeted “Imma leave this here, Check my fit though 🔥 often imitated never duplicated and that’s on periodt 🔥 you can’t do it like me boo #HottestFlame” In the post she uploaded a video of herself with blue hair.

Fans were wise enough to understand whom she was talking about. It was undoubtedly about the former WWE star, Sasha Banks, who had blue hair like Kiera and a similar look.

Days later, Hogan added that she was not mad at Sasha Banks for only copying a similar hairstyle. Rather, there was something more to the story. While she didn’t clarify properly what that was, we could feel the underlying heat. She also went up to tease a match with The Boss in one of her old IG stories.
