The neck brace did not make its first appearance in AEW as a prop worn by Tony Khan. Instead, it was Roderick Strong who made it somewhat of an accessory, as he has been coming into the ring wearing a neck brace for quite a while now. So when he saw Tony Khan wear the neck brace, he saw an opportunity to click an exciting photo that might foreshadow a future tag team run if Tony Khan ever decides to wrestle. Captioning the Twitter post, “#NeckStrong“, Roderick uploaded a picture with Tony Khan, where the two are wearing neck braces.

This post surely attracted a lot of attention. And while the attention is usually on the negative side for Tony Khan and AEW, this time fans decided to pour some love instead. Here are some tweets of the fans showing their support:

These wholesome tweets might’ve made Tony Khan feel much better now. But what would be more exciting to see is how he would react to the beat down. According to AEW lore, CM Punk was fired because he apparently hit Tony Khan or at least threatened to, so he was fired. But Jack Perry and the Young Bucks did assault the AEW president. And Khan surely believes in kayfabe as he did wear a neck brace. So will he fire the Bucks and Perry? Or will AEW find a loophole around it? What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
