Maybe a change in the environment and unique ideation might help the character connect with wrestling fans once again. But all things aside, Ziggler has shown an interest in stand-up comedy over the past few years. He said that someday he wants to pursue it as a full-time gig. Mustafa Ali

Ali is known to be a young, athletic, and charismatic pro wrestler. He is also known for not having reached his complete potential, with occasional hits and occasional misses. With him still having the backing of energy and time, fans might be interested in seeing him in the AEW ring. Even renowned journalist Dave Meltzer said that Ziggler and Ali are the two top contenders to be signed by AEW following their release a few months ago. Chances that the former WWE star might make his way to AEW are high, thanks to the American Dragon. Bryan Danielson who is a prominent figure at AEW had expressed his desire to work with Ali during his time at WWE. Now that he has a chance to get Ali on board, fans might finally get to see the two in the ring together.

Mansoor

The star with a winning streak of 49, Mansoor was a part of the Maximum Male Models which were handled by Max Dupri. The tag team contender went on to become a top star with his looks and his skills. Unfortunately, he and his tag team partner Mace were released along with other WWE stars after the merger. In his last run with WWE, he had portrayed a heel after playing a face for some time. AEW might need a heel like him who carries an aura of invincibility with his winning streak.

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let’s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
