In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online podcast, Bryan Alvarez wanted to put it all out on the table. Going further in his analysis of All Elite Wrestling. And it was during this conversation that he revealed that Tony Khan believes in having an iron fist when it comes to some elements of his show. One of which is keeping his match card a secret.

So in the podcast, Alvarez said, “It’s top secret what the matches are gonna be. They don’t even tell the production people until like an hour before the show. — Nobody knows anything! He (Tony Khan) keeps everything TOP SECRET from everybody.” And it is the same Tony Khan who is often called out for trying to be too nice and friendly with his wrestlers.

So it is quite interesting to see that the AEW President can also be a bit stern when the situation calls for it. Especially when the company is unable to find a proper creative direction. As they have failed to establish a face of the promotion till now. However, several may also criticize him for showing distrust toward his own superstars. This may result in more backstage heat, something that All Elite Wrestling is already infamous for. And surely Khan would try to avoid more bad publicity.
