The storyline is pretty straightforward. Jack Perry has been on the shelf indefinitely for his infamous All-In brawl with CM Punk at Wembley Stadium. He resumed his in-ring endeavor at the Dynasty pay-per-view this past Sunday to come to the save of The Young Bucks in their world tag team title match. This week again, on the April 24 episode of Dynamite, Perry teamed up with Young Bucks to call Khan out after a brief backstage meeting.

In the final moments of the show, Perry showcased fake loyalty and gratitude to AEW and Khan, saying he just wants what’s best for the promotion. He even gave the AEW president a tight hug. Quickly after, the situation took a 180-degree turn, with Perry turning on the AEW head honcho out of the blue. At this point, The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada tried to calm Perry down, including teasing the EVP Trigger. However, they didn’t go through with it before hitting the Meltzer Driver on Khan.
