The most hyped-up mystery in the AEW world right now is the identity of the mysterious “Devil” and all his masked cronies. The MJF’s tormentors have been hiding behind the mask and continuing to make rounds for a long time. While one of the men running around in masks has now been revealed by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shawn Spears was revealed as one of the masked men at a recent TV taping, the real one never introduced himself until tonight.

The Devil appeared and made himself known to all, dishing an extra headache to the top heel, MJF following his devastating title loss.

In a tiff fight, Samoa Joe crushed MJF and wrapped the world title around his neck. However, the ending awaited more drama.

After the nail-biting match went down, Adam Cole stepped into the ring to sympathize with his friend. Shortly, he became surrounded by the masked men’s troop surrounded. It seemed they were prepping to pull out a dangerous chair shot on Cole. But before we could see the impending action, the lights went off.

Again, the Devil reverted to the lore ahead of the AEW Full Gear this year, but this time with another masked man.

The top mystery acts launched an assault on Jay White, cementing the feud with MJF.

Ever since MJF and his allies continued to be at the gunpoint of the Devil and troops through the rest of the year. It saw a series of twists before we got to know who the heck the Devil is at Worlds End tonight.
