“Let’s see, in a perfect scenario at WrestleMania, it would be Big Show versus Shaquille O’Neal. That would be a perfect scenario because we never really got to make that happen. That’s one of those stones I’d like to get out of my shoe and settle that, who is the best big man of all time, period.” said Big Show. H/t Inside The Ropes

Fans have been waiting for this ‘clash of the titans’ since a very long time. Both men also have an interesting history with each other! They both traded blows in July 2009 on an episode of Monday Night Raw where Shaq was a special host.

This would be their only confrontation until the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 where both men were participants. The reaction both men got when they came face to face was electric. Fans even speculated that the two men could face off at WrestleMania 33, but the match never materialized.

A relentless Show challenged Shaq to a match at Mania during the ESPYs. On his part, Shaq blamed WWE and said the company messed it up.

The Big Show, on the other hand, blamed Shaq for the match being canceled saying Shaq looked like ‘Jabba the hut’ and didn’t want the world to see his horrible shape.

The possibility of a Shaq vs Big Show match happening at this time looks bleak. It looks like the NBA Legend would engage in a feud with Cody Rhodes in AEW after Brandi Rhodes threw wine on him. However, that was weeks ago.
